Every Splatter Box party is built to be simple, fun, and easy to follow. You'll have time to come in, set up your party table, celebrate together, and then head into the splatter zone. Simple Party Flow 1: Arrive and set up your table 2: Enjoy cupcakes, gifts and celebrating together 3: Head into the Splatter Zone for the paint experience 90 minute Party Example If your party starts at 2:00 PM, setup begins at 1:45 PM, and everything wraps up at 3:30 PM. 🕐 1:45–2:00 PM — Setup & Arrival Guests arrive, drop off gifts, and get settled. 🎂 2:00–2:30 PM — Celebration Sing happy birthday, enjoy treats, and celebrate together. 2:30–3:15 PM — Paint Time Head into the splatter zone for about an hour of colorful fun!        3:15PM -3:30— Pick up time + Clean up time  Parents that dropped off are encouraged to come back no later. Please have all people and items cleared from party space. Why this flow works 15 minutes is just right for setup, 30 minutes at the table builds excitement until the kids can’t wait to paint, and about 1 full hour of high-energy splattering, dancing, and creating is the sweet spot for maximum fun without burnout. It’s the rhythm that keeps parties smooth, exciting, and stress-free for parents. FYI: You are welcome to leave items at your table during splatter time, but all people and belongings must be cleared from the party space by your party end time. For example, a 2:00 PM party must be fully cleared by 3:30 PM

Paint is purchased separately since every group uses a different amount. You’re never locked into a set quantity — you can start with any amount and add more at any time during the party if your group wants to keep the colors flowing. Most families choose their paint after booking once they know their final guest count. Many start with our Paint Max Paint Pack because it’s the best value and makes party prep simple — but it’s totally optional. You can also add paint in-studio on party day as you go, so it’s easy to stay in control of your total.

Great question! We strongly recommend starting with cake, snacks, and gifts before painting. That way everyone is clean for photos, fueled up for fun, and ready to go all-in once the splatter starts. Once painting begins, things get colorful fast, so food works best beforehand. It keeps the party flowing smoothly and makes sure you get the full paint experience without stopping to reset. If you have a special reason to flip the order, please let us know a few days before your party so we can plan for it. We’re not able to accommodate last-minute or same-day changes to the party flow. You may arrive up to 15 minutes before your scheduled start time for setup, greeting guests, and getting ready to celebrate before paint time begins.

We're excited you're thinking about decorating! While our space is already colorful and fun, you’re welcome to bring balloons and a table cloth to add a personal touch. We do keep it limited to just balloons, since the space is designed to be bright and festive on its own, and it helps keep things simple for you! For safety and cleanup reasons, we do not allow banners, glitter, confetti, noise makers, silly string, piñatas, or open flames (other than birthday candles). Yes! You’re welcome to bring cupcakes and bottled drinks for your celebration. These work perfectly with our setup and keep the party moving smoothly into paint time. We recommend keeping food simple (Cupcakes, and drinks). Full meals like pizza, or anything that needs serving can be tricky in our space, which is why most families stick with cupcakes and drinks for best experience. Your party also includes a dedicated cake + gift table for celebrating before heading into the splatter zone.

Yes! Your party includes a reserved party space just for your group within our shared studio. You’ll have dedicated tables for cupcakes and presents, plus a bench where parents can sit and relax while everyone gathers. The space is designed for quick celebration, photos, and gift time before painting — it’s not a fully seated dining setup, but it gives your group a clear home base that’s easy, comfortable, and organized. This layout keeps the party flowing smoothly and helps everyone get into the splatter zone on time without feeling rushed.

Yes, goggles are included! 🥽 We provide them for all guests to ensure everyone has fun while staying protected from paint splatters. Safety first, after all! We also recommend wearing ponchos for extra protection, and we have additional options available for purchase if you’d like. Feel free to bring your own ponchos, too! Our goal is to make sure you have a colorful, worry-free experience! 🎨💥

Yes! If you don't see a confirmation email, it means you don't have a booking. A confirmation email is automatically sent after booking. If you don’t see it, check your spam or junk folder, as it may have ended up there. We also send a confirmation text and booking reminders, so make sure your phone number is correct. Some phones with spam blockers may not receive texts, so if you opted in but aren’t getting messages, that could be why. If you have any issues, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!

Younger kids may need an adult to help them splatter, but the fun is universal — if you can hold a paint bottle, you can join the fun!

No, the paint won’t stain your body or hair! It’s washable and will come off easily in the shower once you're home.
